Clogged drains are some of the most common plumbing problems plaguing American homes. Prevention is always better than cure when it comes to keeping your drains clean. Never flush large objects, diapers, feminine products or paper towels down your toilet. Similarly, never use your kitchen sink as a trash can. Don't pour grease or shove, coffee grounds, banana peals, tea bags, bones and egg shells down your disposer. Make it habit of regularly running hot water down your drain to keep it clog free.
